MY STORY
Understanding my unique life's purpose
Hello, I’m Wendy, a professional psychic medium and healer based in the UK, with over 20 years of experience working closely with the spirit world. My connection to the spirit realm has been with me since childhood, and my earliest memories of this gift go back to when I was just three years old.

One of my most vivid childhood memories happened after my grandmother passed away. We were on a family holiday, and I remember seeing my mother cry. When I asked why, she explained that she was sad because she wouldn’t see her mother again—Nanny had gone to heaven. But I didn’t understand. Earlier that day, I had seen Nanny on the beach, watching my dad and me build sandcastles. She was smiling, and she looked so happy. It left me feeling confused, and when I mentioned it to my mom, she dismissed it, telling me it was wrong to tell stories.

As time went on, I continued to hear my Nanny’s voice, especially at bedtime. But I kept these experiences to myself. One day, my mom took me to visit Nanny’s grave, and she told me that the church nearby was Nanny’s house. But when I looked around, I saw other people chatting and laughing, which only added to my confusion.

There was one girl in particular, playing nearby, who caught my attention. She was dressed in a pink dress with a bow in her hair, and she told me her name was Irene. She was six years old, just like I was. We became close friends, and I loved visiting the garden, where Irene would always be waiting for me. We communicated without words—just thoughts, which I assumed was perfectly normal.

Years later, I learned that my grandmother had a daughter named Irene, who tragically passed away at six years old, after stepping on a needle. She was buried in the same grave as my Nanny. I had no idea at the time, but Irene had been the little girl I played with in Nanny’s garden.

As a teenager, my intuitive abilities expanded. I could sense when people would pass, predict events, and offer insights about others, but as I grew older, I began to ignore these gifts.

My spiritual calling resurfaced as my children grew older. I started visiting spiritualist churches, attending psychic readings, and reading every book I could find on the subject, though I still hesitated to acknowledge my own abilities.

Then in 1996, everything changed when my mother passed away from a stroke. I felt lost without her—she was my closest confidante, the one person who truly understood me. For months after her passing, I sought out mediums in the hope that she would communicate with me. One day, a friend recommended a medium who changed the course of my life.

While waiting for my appointment, I spotted a college prospectus for the Arthur Findlay College of Psychic Research and Metaphysics, and something inside me clicked. The medium I saw that day was a teacher at the college, and she told me I was destined to study there. She was right—I enrolled, and over the following years, I traveled to the college and other spiritual hubs, deepening my understanding of mediumship, healing, and my psychic gifts.

My spiritual journey has included studying a wide variety of healing and spiritual modalities, such as Holistic Therapies, Counselling, Life Coaching, NLP, Reiki Healing, Shamanic Practices, Energy Work, and Crystal Healing. All of these practices now beautifully inform my work.

It feels so natural to help others connect with their loved ones and navigate life’s challenges. In fact, I’ve been fortunate enough to lead my own workshops, helping others develop their psychic and mediumship abilities.

Working with individuals one-on-one, offering guidance, truth, and healing, has become my life’s work. I feel truly blessed to be doing what comes naturally to me and to help others on their own spiritual paths.

Outside of my work, I find peace in connecting with nature, tending to my cottage garden, and using this sacred space for meditation. It’s here, in the quiet moments, that I can recharge and reconnect with my soul.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I feel honored to share this journey with you.
